June 2016 - Merchants Bank Announces Four Bank Officer Promotions
Bangor, PA (June 17, 2016) – The Merchants Bank Board of Directors announces the promotions of the following employees to Vice President at their recent reorganizational meeting:
- Curt Kemmerer was promoted to Vice President/Controller/Assistant Corporate Secretary Kemmerer served 17 years with Merchants Bank and previously held the position of AVP/Financial Reporting Manager/Assistant Corporate Secretary.
- Fred Thomas was promoted to Vice President/Commercial Credit Manager. Thomas came to Merchants Bank one year ago with nine years of experience and previously held the position as a Credit Analyst at Community Bank, NA.
- Cindy Gold, with 34 years of experience in the banking industry, has been promoted to Vice President/Residential Lending Manager. Gold previously held the position as AVP/ Mortgage Loan Underwriter has been with Merchants Bank for 11 years. Gold held positions in mortgage lending for Valley Federal Savings & Loan Assoc. and Twin Rivers Community Bank.
- Jeff Rake was promoted to Vice President/Branch Operations Manager having served at Merchants Bank for 27 years. Rake’s previous positions include Teller, Assistant Branch Manager, Branch Manager, and for the past 12 years as Branch Operations Specialist.
